Fragments
A study of found objects both natural and man made and the intricacy and affect they have when paired together. Both the natural world and we humans drop pieces of us, evidence that we were in a place at a certain time as we go through our lives. This collection gives a voice to those fragments and the silent story they tell of the passage of time, place, and memory.
Fragments 1 through 12 are combined into Fragments - Aligned. Fragments 1-12 are created on 3”x3” cradled basswood panels. They are attached to Fragments - Aligned with heavy duty Velcro, so they may be rearranged or removed.
